Is it wrong to assume furloughs are not a matter of if but when? I can't see how any airline can operate like this. Even with the govt bailout. Which has some pretty ridiculous stipulations as of now.
I mean, come Oct 1... the existing money is gone no matter what and all the rules to get it expire too.
If nothing changes, we at least have a paycheck till then and you will just have to wait and see whether we get ahead of this situation or not. I would get a backup job lined up now JIC, but I wouldn't jump till it gets closer to end of the road at least.
