Sorry, but you're mistaken and the Company still owes you money. The misconception of having no vacation time is so common I think it needs to be addressed in a memo by ALPA.

PSA:
When you leave, you are owed any unused and accrued vacation time. Accrued vacation time is accumulated each month/pay period (there's a table in the CBA). If you took your awarded 14-day vacation in Feb and leave on April 1st, you have 0 unused vacation time, but have 3 months worth of accrued vacation time (from Jan-Mar). This must be paid out to you on your final paycheck. It's not much, about 10-15 hours of pay depending on your accrual rate, but I shudder to think how many pilots/FAs have resigned over the years thinking they weren't owed any vacation time because they already took their awarded vacation for the year. Remember, your 2019 awarded vacation is from the days accrued in 2018. So if you resign sometime in 2019, whatever you've accrued in 2019 is owed to you, since you weren't able to bid for and take the vacation in 2020.

The Company shorted me on my accrued vacation time when I resigned last year, and I had to email Payroll to get it corrected. I can only imagine the hundreds of thousands they've saved from crews not knowing any better and not fighting for their monies owed. It's an extension of having to constantly watch Rainmaker every month, and frankly just another pathetic way for the Company to save money.

TLDR: Unless you resigned in January, there must be some vacation time on your final paycheck. Don't let them shortchange you!!
