‘And here is a very valid point that is being overlooked by the crowd that thinks lowering the ALV is the way we should go. Lowering the ALV has always been portrayed as a temporary fix. The company only wanted it for a couple of months.....that might have been extended to.......oh let’s say October 1.....when they can furlough/start furloughing as many pilots as they want. This has always been a short term idea. If any one seriously thinks a reduced ALV will save pilots from furlough......you need to rethink that idea.
