That is a VERY short sighted view. The majors allocate flying and if Regional A can do it at a better value than Regional B the plane will move.

Do you think Wendy’s and Taco Bell are
not competitors because their food options are different? They are certainly competing for your dollar budgeted for food.

If you truly believe your statement please stick to operating planes and never apply to manage anything. Your employees will deserve better.
