While I just lost a childhood friend last week from this (only 41) I do concur to some degree.
Though the same could be said with the 'war on terror' that conservatives generally wholeheartedly accept and that even comes with the Patriot Act. I'd wager a fair amount of those protesting the lock-downs probably supported the Patriot Act in the name of security. An odd juxtaposition if you ask me.
We need to be rational & reasoned but also listen to the actual experts in getting things running again.
Like always, give the govt a little power, they over do it. Patriot act supposed to monitor foreign adversaries plotting to do harm in US, instead gets used by political opponents to spy on other party to look for collaboration of a possible theory.
