Good lord. Come back on here and 90% of the people are planning their own funerals. Yes travel is junk right now most of the states have restrictions on non essential travel so that to be expected wait and see what it looks like when more states start to life restrictions that will paint a more clear picture.Yes travel will more then likely be slow to come back but it gives me hope going to Best Buy and seeing people buy useless sh** money is still flowing who knows for how long but for the moment it’s still going. Who knows maybe this whole thing with shake out for the better for 9E and Delta the financial crisis was a **** show but every airline came back to earn record profits. I’m hoping it doesn’t take that long again but we will see. If an effective treatment comes out you might see that V shaped recovery I personally know many many many people that are currently planning vacations for Jan/Feb next year looking to take advantage of good prices in the vacation sector. Wait and see. That is all butcher it but I prefer to live with faith rather then the burden of fear.
90% people are not planning their funerals on here. Most I’m sure are enjoying time with family and getting stuff done around the house. Ya know, being productive. Conversely, you have certain posters that use the majority of their time to ramble on multiple threads about how the world is ending. They puff their virtual chest and state everyone should listen to them because they are old and were the only successful ones to navigate a downturn in a cyclical industry. Whoa your the only one to make through a furlough? How’d ya do it? Single handedly negotiated with management and the government at large?
Here is practical advise, save money for rainy days and keep productive when that rain comes. The amazing thing is that advise works in a lot of industries!
