I came here for one reason and one reason only. Job security and a pilot group that was known for taking care of each other. If the forums are any indication, it’s just another pilot group no different from the alpa groups i was furloughed from. “i’ve got mine. Tough luck”
Late 2017 hire.
no concessions!
Offer more ETOs and as many substantial early retirements as will take it and then let it fall where it may. But concessions lower an already low bar and give a lower starting place when section six resumes.
SWA also has to learn that it can no longer cheap out when it comes to doing what other carriers are doing. If they’re going to go big for the back offices, a la buy-backs and bonuses, then they have to go big for the front line, a la ETOs and early out incentives.
