no requirement for a multi add on and the checkride was the easiest one I ever took. I know guys who got there multi in about 5 hours (what mcartier713 said)and thats with a 1.5 hour checkride, I got mine after 10.5 hours (in a C310) and been flying in it to get ME PIC.

If i remeber i think the checkride goes:
-normal takeoff
-engine failure on rakoff roll
-engine failure on climbout and return for landing on one engine
-normal climb/cruise
-steep turns
-slow flight
-take-off/landing/full flap stall
-Single engine shutdown and restart
-Vmc demonstration
-Drag demonstration
For instrument:
-ILS approach and missed approach
-ILS approach with engine failure
