Just to clarify, the court said they had to pick up opentime, but they cannot actually force individuals to pick up opentime. More of a symbolic gesture than anything. That said I wouldn’t advocate job actions or anything else nefarious on an only somewhat anonymous forum.
You pick your battles and at this moment the last thing the company will want to is go nuclear over this by taking ALPA to court. Plus, there will be plenty of SC and FSB to cover the last minute OT scraps as we move forward. Even Carlsen admitted that a lot of the PP the crew desk has been generating was due to scheduler error.
