A lot of what has been considered "good governance" may in hindsight be considered overkill. That is what this COVID thread is about I assume. When the president closed down air travel from China than Europe, this thing took on a life of its own. Blame the media if you want, but Trump has not, to my knowledge been lead by the media on anything he's done and I doubt if he started with stopping airlines enter from overseas. Fear of flying with people who might have Corona is what's going to keep pilots out of the cockpits. People choosing not to fly, not CNN, NYT or Mr Fauci will convince people either to fly or not. It will take a personal feeling that its safe to sit next to someone they don't know, can't move away from, and are with for 1 to 6 hours.
