Just throwing a number out there, let’s say 200 pilots are forced to move an average of 1,000 miles - it comes to $1.5 million in moving expense claims. Plus the costs associated with requalifying downgraded captains in the right seat.
I see them announcing the base closures and that they will furlough by base. Then have a systemwide bump and flush bid so they can say that the transfers were voluntary.
