Why would Amazon subcontract with United to fly freighters when they could utilize their existing carriers in ATI, ABX, Atlas and Southern for a LOT lower overhead and much more flexible workfules?
This is beyond fantasy and shows an utter lack of understanding about the Prime Air network.
What this awful industry turn very well could do, however, is provide Amazon the conversion feedstock necessary to grow Prime Air even more in the coming years...but it won't be with UALPA pilots.
