I guess none of you guys care about how many people will lose their jobs if the airlines decided to reduce the frequency if flight in hopes to reduce cost. This will have a huge impact on the economy and will lead a loss of lots of jobs. The reduction in frequency will have a negative impact on passenger convenience and ticket prices. But none of you care because you only look at what is good for you. I hope you will be happy when thousands of regional airline pilots lose their jobs with no way to feed their families. Did you get into this career to fly an RJ? This bodes well for your career long term. This is a good sign and a possible reversal from low paid regionals. No offense to RJ drivers, I was there once too except they were called turboprops. I always welcomed mainline on "their" routes. It was "their" flying to begin with and I always thought maybe someday I could fly a mainline airplane.
