Protectionist gotta ask himself if America is about bootstrapping your way up (equal opportunity merit based system) OR entitlement based on identity (heritage, color, sex, religion, who you screw, etc).

Anyone who's been through the legal immigration process in this country has been through a helluva ringer and should be lauded. I wish all our citizens had to pass a civics test.
