6801 is the starting point for the bottom NB Captains and WB FOs. They are displacing over a thousand Captains who are very senior on the 756, 777 and 787 and they will be going into those seats. On the second or third round of displacements, you will see that number get closer to 4,000 most likely as they have to have subsequent bumps, because they are not going to have 500 Airbus Captains in Denver, for example.
