So after seven weeks of operating as critical essential employees where getting cockpit cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer/masks has been a fight and international crews can't get clean blankets from an international hub of a global shipping company...now they're going to attempt to mandate mask usage?

The FOIB lists a number of exceptions to the mask policy centered around ability to maintain social distance...as I read it there's lots of latitude there for someone to justify not wearing one in most circumstances. Since the company is now requiring masks they have to provide them per 4.A.2; are they going to be available at every gateway and guard shack across the country for offline jumpers or those who have been on OCV/medical/long term training? Not according to the bulletin...

Have there been any documented cases of an infected pilot spreading it to another pilot they were crewed with or jumpseated with or sat near in the NASC or crew van?

I think wearing a mask is a smart mitigation policy for the next month or two, but think a mandate is silly and if someone is concerned about getting the virus at work and taking it home to an compromised family member, they should avail themselves of the negotiated LOA.
