Not to be political, but there are really two competing thoughts as it relates to business. Just take away the names of any parties. You can call it the rosebud party and the cirrus cloud party. What's important is what they stand for and what they produce. Talk doesn't matter. Results do. The principles they stand for, produce results.
1. Business and commerce is fostered by a flexible government that believes in the power of capitalism to be the engine of the economy and to provide upward mobility for society. Federal Taxes should support interstate commerce, appropriate regulation, and national defense.

2. Business and those than run them should be punitively taxed and those moneys re-distributed to lower wage earners and illegal immigrant-foreign nationals. Those moneys re-distributed come in the form of Taxes and things like federal support to interstate commerce and national defense will suffer.
The two belief systems effect corporations and small businesses in different but similar ways.
If over-taxed a small business can't compete. If over-regulated they can't be nimble and flexible enough to meet market conditions. If the business owners themselves are over-taxed then they can't be competitive in their offerings to hire and retain talent. In large cities where one political party has dominated for half a century or more we can see the full effect on those policies and laws at the local level. it's important to see things at the local level, because thats the lowest level, and that level is where we are. How are the schools? Is real estate value fair? How is the crime? Do local businesses flourish? How is the cleanliness and sanitary conditions? how are local services? how are the roads and infrastructure? How is the climate of government? Does government give away your tax moneys to foreign nationals,or do they spend it on you, the citizen tax-payer? Are your children safe? Are your children being educated as you would like? Are your children surpassing the parents in terms of their quality of life?
Government can create an atmosphere where the people and the businesses they create produce wealth, which is a good thing, or it can strangle business so it can't produce wealth and therefore make those people dependent upon the state.
My biggest question moving forward is this: What does Joe Biden know about business and commerce? i think he's been a government employee his entire adult life. No way he brings us out of this mess unless we're all government employees working for a nationally owned airline. Try negotiating a labor contract with a nationally owned, and fully subsidized airline. No more contract!!
