I'll just be honest and say masks at this point are nothing more than a visual confirmation and appeasement that we are doing 'something' in order to feel safe about the virus when we go out. It sure as heck doesn't look effective the way it's being done right now!
Maybe, but I think it's a numbers game, where half is still somewhat beneficial, as opposed to an all or nothing/perfection or failure type of thing. I believe in general our culture needs to be less binary in our thinking. It squashes critical thinking and openness to new ideas.
