Displacement Training Sequence
Half wing here.
Doesn't the UPA state that all displacement training must be conducted in reverse seniority? If true, then how many rounds of pilots will be trained just to be furloughed before they start training guys who might actually ever fly the aircraft? Can they do several rounds of displacements before starting any training?
For example, multiple rounds of bumps until you eventually get 4000 surplus Guppy and Bus FOs on the books, none of whom have even started training yet. Then furlough pilots in the same quantity as can be trained each month. Do I have this right? Speaking as someone 500 from the bottom and actively looking for a place to start my third career in October.
Thanks!
