Over 2500 Captains and WB FO's (including PI paper bids) will be forced into a NB FO slot on this displacement bid (seniority <7876). They will be piling in on top of the 3100+ existing NB FOs. I fully expect a furlough but to take an inconsequential number from a displacement and interpolate x number of furloughs from it is ignorant of the process. You had meatballs prognosticating that we are furloughing back to 6801 seniority because that was the NB CA cutoff in the very first displacement... I understand the numbers being thrown around aren't easy to comprehend but for every 1 person that understands the numbers there are 5 taking one random number and running with it. This is just the first displacement and there is a lot of gamesmanship from both sides before this is over.
