Fascism is left wing. It was started by a known socialist who wanted to appeal to people based on their class, as is the case in socialism, and their national identity. In smaller words fascists are socialists with a nationalist identity. The ideology of conservatism wants small governments, unlike socialists, communists, and fascists. The further to the right you go the smaller the government, so a far-right government would resemble anarchy, not fascism
