Did your numbers factor in possibly missing out on 4.5 months of furlough pay? Why not just COLA until you get furloughed, or if you don’t then quit at some point down the road? I would agree severing links now could be better for your mental health.
Isn’t there an “act of god” or “national emergency” clause. I’m an AA guy and we wouldn’t get $hit if we furlough..
