LAX might see fly through if AA opts to keep it as a Trans-Pac gateway, but opening a full base would be pretty expensive. In addition to pilots, you also need flight attendants, as well as mechanics and spare parts.
All of which OO has at LAX right now. I suspect once things eventually improve a little you’ll see SkyWest jump in to fill the old Compass flying. Whoever ends up doing it whenever it may be, it will just be nice to see the Eagles nest operational again in LA
