They reported better then expected loss and burning less cash. With double the debt and and a fraction of revenue coming in I have to question how Doug can maintain this operation with minimal cuts. Sometimes I feel like he purposely has the company in the express lane to bankruptcy. Hope for the best but plan for the worse.

It may be known that if AA doesn't have a miraculous recovery then it's BK city anyway, so might as well get it over with this year. I don't see how Delta and United can compete with an American who went from zero to hero via chapter 11, thus forcing them into a reorganization also.... Feel free to provide feedback on this hypothesis.
