This month definitely created some haves and have-nots. While that is, in fact, how it works, it’s still discouraging and frustrating for those who will have to call up CS to maintain landing currency while others line their pockets out of spite.
Unpopular opinion, I know. But I think it went too far.
A lack of unity only helps the company, and this has created a divide.
I don’t think there are many people that really pick up OT out of spite. From what I can tell, everyone picked up their normal amount of OT. There’s just not much flying out there, OT or otherwise.
There’s also very little going to RSVs because there are almost no delays. I can’t remember the last time I flew a leg that wasn’t both a terminating flight AND 20 mins early.
Also, most reserves I know see flying as a negative, not a positive.
