It’s not really possible to get more passengers right now with the limited number of flights. Now United has to figure out how to add flights last minute(45 days)and sell them
The flights are already on the books. The company tries to cast a wide net, and then cancel and consolidate flights as the departure date nears. The flights are there, the passengers aren’t.
