My evidence to the contrary is the lack of results.
It’s an old strategy (or ‘stratedgy’, if you want to use a gloopyism), make a lot of noise to cover up the lack of results.

I believe (opinion) that both sides have painted themselves into a corner, each unwilling to propose an action to the other for fear of a very public snub, and, in our Association’s case, a shouty email to the members reassuring them how tough they are and how they shut the company down again, and if they agree to practically anything they feel that they will appear weak. And the wheel turns, and we get no results. In my opinion, again, an opinion, this situation started with the regime change that occurred after TA2. A wave of discontent and very good politicking swept the tough guys in, running on a platform of anger and mistrust, and most damagingly, the opinion that saying ‘no’ to everything is somehow a gain.

You’ve been here a while, like me. What happened to the company and the Association working together for mutual gains? Don’t say it never happened. Why did Delta historically have the best contracts in the industry? Why now have we seen no mid-contract gains, little or no progress in section 6, and no meaningful gains (or even dialog) during this upheaval? What has changed?

Real leaders get results. Bad leaders blame others.
