Problem with any "expert" in the field of statistics or forecasting models is that they don't factor in human variables or human emotion..


Disney opens.. there will be a spike in travel, vacation states open another spike. Cure or Vaccine created, possible huge spike. Even over time people just become more comfortable or get tired of the nonsense..

After 9/11, the general public was screaming about " we need more secrurity, racial profile, screen everyone blah, blah, blah".

Over a period of time(and not that many years) that sentiment changed to " 3oz rule is ridiculous. Taking off my shoes is a pain. Even pilots use the axe in the cockpit rationale."

I see all these articles about "Will Travel ever Be the Same" "Will we ever go to restaurants again".. I don't even bother opening the articles because the stupidity of those articles is on such a level that it isn't worth the brain cells.


Ruining the economy and closing businesses will be what hinders the airlines. In a year from now it won't be the virus, it'll be everyday peoples job status and bank account.
