I haven't heard anything, rumor or otherwise. Horizon had a base in ANC for a couple years that petered out pretty quickly - they found that the Q400 isn't actually a great plane to operate up there in the manner that they wanted. I think it lasted three years from opening to closing, and the last two years were only ANC-FAI with a single flight to SCC each week. Too much cargo/checked bags, not enough people to balance out the loads. From what I've seen going from ANC-ENA or the reverse over the past couple years the loads were really light at about ~15 bodies on the flights that I took, but that may have simply been because I was choosing flights that fit my connection times and usually ended up being early morning or late night.
