To keep things clear, I have no desire to uproot, move to SoCal and work for Clay Lacy. And "sensitive"? Only to people who talk big but really don't back it up with their actions.

No, I don't think we all agree.
1. Flying with a company led by a scab: you can support your family and try to move on as quick as you can.
2. Flying with a scab captain: you can call in sick or drop the trip. It doesn't cost you your career, It doesn't cost much money,, and is a magnitude less painful to supporting your family. So can I assume you do this when you are paired with a scab?
Since Option 2 is such a painless option as compared to Option 1, I would think that someone as passionate about the subject as you would invoke it. I would guess not. Seems to me you're just making excuses since YOU'RE not directly affected today.
My next door neighbor flew Lear's for Clay Lacy in the 90's and is now a junior NB Captain at one of our competitors. Great guy, and definitely supports the union. Do you believe I should go tell him he's a worthless piece of FOD because he worked there?
A few years ago I flew with a real senior Captain who had done a lot with ALPA. In discussing the strike, his observation was that there are more than a couple of folks he knows that act very over the top about being pro-union... but he believes they would have been in the next wave to cross the picket line in '85 had it gone on a few more months. I often think of his comments when I see some posts on here.
And finally.... would you quit UAL if a scab took over as Chief of Flight Ops, President, CEO, etc...?
