I just don’t see the draw for senior guys to leave early outside of health reasons. 5 weeks vacation that can be turned into months. Fly a couple days a month for thousands of dollars and good benefits. Give away or be “sick/fatigued” for anything you don’t want to fly. Don’t dip into retirement dollars, so there’s a chance to catch an upswing in the market and recoup anything recently lost.
Would be great for the company, as they’re shedding the most expensive and least productive employees, but the deal would have to be too sweet to be cost effective in the long run.
