I saw something like this the other day as well and I was shocked - around noon, there were ZERO XJT airplanes in the air.. My non-scientific, "a few times a day" check of flightaware has me convinced that SkyWest, Mesa and Envoy are doing relatively well vs other regionals.
I’d expect Skywest to have more flights in any given hour due to the overall fleet size and the amount of partner’s serviced. DUI Doug is running AA into the ground. So that explains envoy. Mesa? Well they’re a cockroach. Or it could be the Houston/Dallas base. (Texas isn’t shutdown).
