Actually, those benefits aren’t free. The FAs have to pay for them. Any vacation or company medical benefits are easily offset by giving away trips. If they make what, $60 tfp? And give it all away to people making $20-30 tfp less then them, Im pretty sure it’s cost neutral if not quite beneficial to the company.
look, I just find it humorous when pilots complain that other work groups are jealous of what we negotiate, but get upset when others get a perceived “good deal”. Senior FAs are not the enemy or our problem. We are better than that.
At a time when the company needs more than ever to eliminate inefficiencies, that’s a no brainer.
