Bababouey seconded. Good plan. Lots of units are hiring right now. If you are going to do this definitely don't spend anymore cash for ratings until you get picked up by a unit or not. But be prepared for more than just flying. OTS, UPT, Survival, and lots of other lovely little nuggets of training. As far as building time, and I can't speak to the Guard, but AD dudes usually average between 250 to 500 hours per year for the most part, regardless of Command or platform. Good luck.
