I was part of the new-hire E175 training group sent home in March. A lot of my class is seeking work elsewhere (some flying jobs exist), but some of those jobs will likely require a career swing away from the airlines, thus not accepting a call-back.

If we forfeit our spot in training and with OO for another opportunity outside of the airlines, is that a bad move? I think we're all worried about no base transfers, forever reserve lines, bad QOL, but it feels silly to drop an airline gig where it'll be pretty difficult to get an airline gig. I guess if the dream is to be an airline pilot, one should stick around, but I'm still curious as to what y'all think.

Are we dumb? Asking for a friend.
