This is a common defense of Fauci and public health in general, and it’s utter nonsense. How can you completely divorce public health from the entire social and economic systems? “Oh, my job is just to worry about public health, not all those other things like employment, education, healthcare (FFS!), social well-being, exercise, etc.” As if they have nothing to do with “public health!”
