A lowered monthly guarantee is equivalent of making all our pilots part-time employees. What major corporation asks their full time employees to go part time to save from layoffs and be able to spring back to beat the competition when business improves? I’m all for furlough assessments to help furloughed pilots but this idea is really crazy... and this coming from a pilot who might be furloughed dependent on the cut line.
