I too think this story is WA speculation. No actual DHL US operations (other than "independent" contractors) other than ground stuff.
BTW, DHL is willing to suffer a loss in the US to maintain a presence. If they leave entirely it will likely hurt their global Ops, IMHO. Globally, DHL is not as behind the 8 ball as they are here in the US. And they will do all they can think of to keep their international operation humming.
But I enjoy fantasizing about wild speculation. And this is a doozy.
