You all might want to consider while individuals may act on bigotry and prejudice...the systemic component may be acting from a fundamentally different basis.
any societal and governmental system that is not founded as subordinate to individual human sovereignty will at the end of the day crush its citizens with violence and tyranny.
Ask yourself how 4 officers, not all white, participate and observe the sacrifice of a Individual citizens human right to exist?
And do nothing to stop it?
Over a petty accusation?
The individual bigotry reason pales in comparison to the far more plausable reason. When the agents of government no longer percieve the citizens sovereignty as superior to the state... Then said agents will certainly eventually default to the most grotesque of behaviors in exerting their vested powers.
So you will have 4 cops, depriving a citizen of his very life. In broad daylight. While being videoed. And it doesnt even occur to them....they are doing something wrong.
Agents of government are superior to the laws the rest of us are subject to. They see to that immunity explicity many times...but also implicitly in their failure to impose consequences on their own for transgressions against the citizenry and the law.
Minneapolis is a progressive city government. As is the state. Progressivism...socialisim....communisim...All have the fundamental tenent of supremecy of the state to the individual.
As a nation we have drifted away...by the design of the statists in control of education, media, and press from the fundamental understanding each human being is sovereign in their right to life. Liberty. And the pursuit of happiness.
This also explains the inaction of those witnessing the injustice in minneapolis. A citizenry cowed to the superiority of the state.....and their agents that executed a fellow citizen right in front of them.
Freedom is always just one generation away from being lost. American Exceptionalism has nothing to do with being #1.
It has to do with a founding that assigns supremecy of the individuals sovereignty over the state. Which has been pretty much the single exception of such a circumstance in the human condition.
