We gave it up before. In the 1989-91 timeframe, most of the FedEx European delivery folks became "redundant". I always liked that word. To us Americans...It sounds a lot better than, they were fired, laid off, unemployed or out of work.
Besides, we wouldn't be giving it up, this time. Sounds like we'd be using their ground delivery infrastructure. Might be easier than trying to build our own, all at once. Again.
