Building a kayak. It's helped with my sanity. Now I can be frustrated about resin curing, aligning seems, sanding out drips and such.
I bet that you'll be able to visit SOME parts of the world sooner rather than latter... some places will be more concerned with economics than anything else. Might be an adventure, the kind best enjoyed with several of your old buddies from the ODA.
