Before the virus hit, the MEC and NC - how can I put this nicely - had lofty expectations as they flew with their heads in the clouds. Since the virus has hit they have come back down to Earth. Their baseline attitude has had a silver lining however. They are not running out to appease the company’s unreasonable wishes in regards to a lower ALV. They held out for an industry standard early retirement package and they did not outright reject it this time like the first one. Next week we’ll find out if it’s any better.

They have adjusted to the times. The April rebid and SILs demonstrated flexibility. I don’t think they’ll be asking for a $2-3B contract improvement.
