For the LUAL side, it’s actually a bit less than 15 years employed as many of those junior captains were furloughed for years. Hundreds of furloughed LUAL went ahead of active LCAL pilots.
I've never seen years employed as a measuring stick for current upgrade time. A seniority number corresponding to the DOH, regardless of how long a pilot was on furlough for.
