I understand others when they say they never forget being furloughed (likely outcome from UNA) and how they never forget it.
Same principle involved with bankruptcy, 8 more years of BK contracts, losing the DB that was accrued etc.
Being furloughed is gut wrenching enough but 10 years of bankruptcy contracts is financially much more damaging than 2 years of furlough. Not minimizing the furlough, just gotta avoid BK, not only at Delta but also AA and UAL due to pattern bargaining
