Turbine PIC alone won't get you a major airline job these days. If your favorite uncle is the system chief pilot at FDX, it might be worth jumping on any PIC opportunity just to punch the ticket...because you can safely assume that you won't be sticking around.
But if you don't have any special connections, 1000 hours TPIC at mesa could turn into 10,000 hours TPIC at mesa

Two years ago, we wouldn't have said that 1000 hours of TT would guarentee you a job with a regional airline either...And 10 years ago, we'd all expect to be scooped up by a major before we ever got the 1000 TPIC, just never know.
