Like everything else in the world it probably was a little of this and a little of that. A genetic predisposition. Too much (or too little) calcium in my diet. A god forsakenly heavy flight bag, and too many trips up and down airstairs. And lifting onto the screening belt. And trying to place it in the overhead.

Maybe the ram's horns were just the last straw.
I hear ya. I've never had a problem after flying other airplanes with normal yokes, swimming, playing tennis and regular weight training for the last 7 years but 20 months in the ERJ and it starts acting up. I'm sure its a number of things with the ram horns being the proverbial straw that broke my arm. Good to know I'm not the only one though.
