I had an APD in my cockpit JS a couple days ago and it was his personal opinion that we cannot pay the training bill this most recent AE charged us. Nothing official, but our APDs aren't stupid and they've got pretty high fidelity data to make an informed opinion from.
Even assuming FO/FO pairings, there’s over 200 A220Bs that somehow need to get trained with two sims and a reduced instructor staff, on top of somehow giving them all an OE and getting them consolidated.
Then you’ve still get all the Captains...
Going to be hard to furlough very deep without parking the A220 For the training to catch up.
