You are right, partially. There is an increase of cases due to testing, that is fact. The increase in hospitalization and ICU beds is the more concerning part and is predominately happening in states that refuse to wear masks.
Not to be a doubting Thomas, but I really don’t see much of a spike in COVID related ICU utilization.
