Therefore it shouldn’t be hard to believe we as a country can’t even come together on something as simple as wearing a mask during a worldwide pandemic.
in fairness, it would have been a whole lot better had the CDC not LIED to us. Telling us there was a mask shortage and the good ones needed to be reserved for those on the frontline of the epidemic would have been the honest and responsible thing to do - like WWII rationing, you could only have so much gasoline, meat, sugar, whatever, because the resources were needed for the troops.
but when you lie and tell people they don’t NEED a mask, that it might even be HARMFUL for them, you’ve then lost not only the credibility but the moral authority to ask them to do something for the common good.
whoever made that bone-headed call needs to be exiled to BFE.
