Search United's site for flights between ORD and LGA in July. You'll find 4 weekday departures, 3 on the weekend.
Now search after August 3rd and you'll see the precovid schedule - 15 hourly departures, most of them mainline, some on expressjet 175s.
The schedule they advertise and sell will be adjusted, my estimate is about 6 weeks prior to the departure date.
